About

Battle for WoTLK Gold, on the other hand was an expansion that focused entirely on faction conflict. The main questline differed completely in accordance with which side the player was on. Also, one of its raidscalled Battle of Dazar'alor, involved faction-unique gameplay in WoW. The expansion's main story revolved around the protagonist, Varok Saurfang, a veteran orc warrior who endured the shady origins of the Horde and his attempts to restore the Horde to an honorable state. The then Warchief, Sylvanas Windrunner, had enacted an act of genocide against the night elves, and had employed a variety of alternative methods of war, which most believed was a blatant disregard for what the Horde stands for.

At some point, it was discovered that Sylvanas wasn't acting for the Horde as such, but her primary objective has always been to cause as much death as possible in the service of her actual master, revealed in WoW's current expansion, WotLK Classic. Saurfang voluntarily gave up his life to strike a lasting peace and a lasting peace with the Alliance and remove Sylvanas. No longer reliant on an autocratic Warchief the Horde is now controlled by a council of racial leaders which is similar to the way in which the Alliance functions. Though the wounds are still not fully healed, Battle for Azeroth's story arc is a catalyst for the progression of a permanent agreement with the different factions.

How WoW's Cross-Faction Gameplay will Work

Blizzard has revealed that cross-faction gameplay will be available in the forthcoming 9.2.5 release of their latest expansion, WotLK Classic, which is likely still some months away. Not every detail is known but the main notion is that players will be able to select whether their manual Group Finder tool will also show players from the opposing faction. This could mean that game content that a leader organizes a team of players will likely include both Alliance and Horde members.

This update will apply to WoW's dungeons, raids, and PvP instances with rated ratings, including both older and new content. The decision to allow players from the other faction is totally up to the player, and those outside the world with PvP enabled will remain able to engage each other even when they're within the same group. Therefore, the "war" in 'Warcraft' is ultimately maintained that was a worry for those who believed open-world PvP could be dealt with.

That being said, cross-faction questing won't be available for certain dungeons or raids wherein the content varies drastically between factions like Battle of buy WoTLK Gold or Trial of the Crusader. Although the quests in older zones have been designed to scale to ensure that players of different levels can join together, in certain zones cross-faction questing won't exist neither. The automated group Finder tool that lets players queue up with a random selection of other players is also not yet designed to support cross-faction play such as Raid Finder also known as Random Battlegrounds.
