I just hope whenever they go that route, it'll have fresh servers. Plus they take into account the even worse faction imbalance which will happen because TBC is even worse with that (Blood Elves are to this day the most played race, Blood Elf Paladins are mathematically superior to Alliance at TBC, Horde racials are mad for arenas etc).

I have played on servers for many years and that experience has been closer a great deal nearer to vanilla than WOW WoTLK Classic continues to be for me. Really highlights people tryhard I guess. Leveling was a constant case of"Are you currently a Mage so we are able to AoE farm dungeons? No? Get out", really little to no WPvP which I adored because of layering etc..

I'm convinced WOW WoTLK Classic TBC will not be like real TBC either, but in my mind that game had a few of the best MMORPG balance ever and till everyone gets their epic flying mounts these zones are a blast. But with massively skewed numerous WOW WoTLK Classic servers are, with some savings being completely dominated, I would really not want to be on a host with maxed out WOW players. (And of course vanilla raid gear / R14 gear is really really good in TBC for a long time, especially if they don't go with a later itemization patch than TBC launching ).

I haven't really bothered with WOW WoTLK Classic but if they declare that a BC server is opening and you can port your WOW WoTLK Classic personality over(also remaining on the WOW WoTLK Classic server only a development on a different server) I'd probably make a character. Knowing I keep into Wrath and could reestablish BC again could be amazing. Your mistake was choosing a PvP server for play that was casual-ish with. That man was the exclusion back in 2005. Because everyone knew a man like that, it was amusing, but they were still relatively rare.

Those guys are legion. Legions upon legions of neckbeards who need nothing more than to camp you always. Servers that are fresh would be a huge fuck you to all of the folks playing. I really don't have a issue with Blizzard making some servers if there's enough demand for them, but not updating or offering transfers for all my characters could be a huge no-no. And yes, Naxx and R14 gear makes a whole bunch of equipment so what, that stuff is really easy.

I would have thought of the raids would be available. Are they simply gating articles to replicate the way that it used to roll out? Yes, they roll the various patches in phases out to give folks and blizz themselves more time. WOW WoTLK Classic would be"done" 4 months ago if WOW WoTLK Classic launched with Naxxramas open currently. Blizz uses cheap WoTLK Gold to give folks something to do while they roll out on the growth that is retail. Same thing is likely gonna happen a few months following Shadowlands release.
